Webinar: Making the Case for Menstrual Health: Lessons from the Field

POSTED

March 6, 2022

What change do you want to see for women, girls and all people who menstruate? A world where they can talk openly about their periods and aren’t limited by menstruation.

This week, Population Services International (PSI), PSI-Europe, The Case for Her and the Global Menstrual Collective hosted a webinar to highlight how this can be done through cross-sectoral programming for menstrual health.

PSI-Zimbabwe’s Kumbirai Chatora alongside COO Audrey Anderson Duckett of Be Girl and Thérèse Mahon of WaterAid shared key lessons and best practices by exploring the impact and effectiveness of integrating menstrual health and hygiene into their respective WASH and sexual and reproductive health programs.

The presentations were followed by a moderated discussion with panel members and Q&A session, hosted by Margaux Chinal, Water and Sanitation Project Manager of Agence Française de Développement.

Our panelists will be providing answers to the many insightful questions brought up during the webinar. Stay tuned!

To hear more about how the global community is taking action this Menstrual Hygiene Day, watch PSI’s President and CEO Karl Hofmann and other global health advocates call for a world where menstruation is just a normal fact of life.
